About the program: Feeling shamed and then shameful is arguably the most disturbing and uncomfortable of all human emotions. The hallmark of intimacy is the willingness and ability to share oneself with another, but feeling shameful blocks the vulnerability necessary for intimacy and strands us in protective cycles of blame, hopelessness, and despair.
This workshop will provide a brief overview of the Intimacy from the Inside out© method of IFS couple therapy with an emphasis on how toxic shame affects intimate relationships.
Toni Herbine-Blank MS, RN is a Senior Trainer for the IFS Institute and developer of the Intimacy from the Inside Out© curriculum for couple therapists.
