Therapeutic Enactments:
Interpersonal Neurobiological Analysis of Case Material

This Intensive will demonstrate the clinical application of Dr. Schore’s regulation theory. He will utilize case material from Philip Bromberg’s The Shadow of the Tsunami and the Growth of the Relational Mind. Dr. Schore has written the foreword to the book, and has presented with Dr. Bromberg in 3 Affect Regulation conferences in New York City. The seminar will discuss the case material from both a clinical and neuropsychoanalytic perspective, especially focusing on the treatment of trauma and dissociation. He will offer a moment-to-moment analysis of right brain-to-right brain nonverbal communications and state shifts in the patient-therapist relationship that occur during an enactment. He will also discuss the mechanisms of rupture and repair processes in the negotiation of the enactment.

CEs are not offered for this event or for any Intensive.
